Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of custom-made clear aligners instead of fixed metal braces. At our Harley Street practice, Invisalign treatment is planned digitally, so you can see a preview of your expected result before you commit.
The aligners are made from SmartTrack material for a precise, comfortable fit. Each set applies gentle pressure to move your teeth gradually into position. Invisalign can treat a wide range of concerns, including crowding, spacing, crossbites, overbites and underbites.
Discreet. The aligners are almost invisible when worn.
Removable. Take them out to eat, brush and floss, or for an important occasion.
Comfortable. Smooth, custom-moulded aligners with no brackets or wires.
Predictable. Digital planning lets you preview your result and track progress at every review.
1. Consultation. We talk through what you would like to change, check your teeth and gums, and take digital scans to build your personalised treatment plan.
2. Your aligners. Once your aligners are made, you wear each set for around 20 to 22 hours a day, moving to a new set every one to two weeks.
3. Reviews. You come back every six to eight weeks so we can check your progress. Partway through, we show you a digital simulation of your expected final result.
4. Retainers. When treatment finishes, retainers keep your teeth in their new position long term.
Invisalign at Bandlish & Auplish is provided by Dr Ash Kalra, a Specialist Orthodontist, and Dr Annie Li, a certified Invisalign Go provider. Each treatment is planned around what matters most to you, whether that is closing gaps, correcting your bite or simply feeling more confident in your smile.
For patients who want a complete refresh, Dr Li often combines Invisalign with teeth whitening and bonding, an approach she calls “the famous ABC”: align the teeth, bleach them to brighten the shade, then bond with tooth-coloured composite to refine their shape. Straightening first means the teeth are in the right position before any cosmetic work, so less of the natural tooth needs treating.
You are supported at every stage, from digital planning to final refinements. Members of our own clinical team, including Dr Gita Auplish, have chosen Invisalign themselves.
Because we are a specialist gum practice as well as a general and cosmetic one, we check your gum health before straightening begins. That matters, because healthy gums are the foundation for moving teeth safely.

Each new set of aligners applies gentle pressure, which can cause mild discomfort for the first few days. This is normal and usually settles quickly.

Gum disease needs to be stable before teeth are moved. As a specialist periodontal practice, we can assess and treat your gums first so that Invisalign can go ahead safely.
Yes. Retainers stop your teeth moving back. They are usually worn full time for the first few months, then overnight as advised.
